Life Garden Project
THE ABUNDANT LIFE GARDEN PROJECT
Trinity Chapel is embarking on a Sunday School curriculum for the coming
year which endeavors to help our children to become more aware of the
needs of others in the world, link these needs to the Bible, and work toward
addressing them both as individuals and in community.
September: Bible stories which pick up the themes to follow
October: Animals – starting with the Blessing of Animals for
St. Francis’ Day (October 2nd)
November: Harvest – celebrating the fruits of God’s bounty
December: Christmas Pageant – rehearsing and presenting to the
January: The Epiphany Season
February: Water – its importance to all living things
March: Soils – the ground in which we plant and nurture
April: Seeds – what we plant to get an “Abundant Harvest”
Each Sunday morning we will study the featured theme and accompany
it with a variety of fun, hands-on activities. In addition we are planning
a couple of Friday nights in November and February where we would eat
together and enjoy some activities related to our theme.
Please feel invited to come and share with others how we relate to God’s
bounty, care for the world and its resources, and care about our own needs
as well as the needs of others. We meet at 9 a.m. on Sunday at Trinity
Chapel, Center Rd, Shirley, MA.
