MINISTRIES

Rogation Sunday 2007Services, such as Lenten services, healing services, Rogation Day Procession, and folk masses are also held as well as other special celebrations such as House Blessings.

Fellowship activities include: Fall Fair, The Strawberry Festival (June), Suppers such as the Seder Supper and annual Epiphany party.

Special Services are held on Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week and Thanksgiving.

Adult Education classes are held during certain seasons after the 9:30am service and/or at other convenient times.

Active lay participation is encouraged through serving as Acolytes, Layreaders, Choir members, Altar guild and Vestry.

Outreach: Trinity Chapel reaches out to others in many ways. We visit local rest homes as well as supporting the Loaves and Fishes food program in Devens, participating at least annually in the Ecclesia Ministry Program in Boston and numerous other charitable programs.

Visitations to new parishioners are made by the Rector as well as other lay members. We would be happy to visit you in your home.

We are supported by the contributions and labors of our members. We are fully self-supporting and prepared to share our blessings with others.

We are optimistic about our future, as this area is growing rapidly in population. We are serious about growth, as our growth and membership committee has been operation for several years and is working very hard. One thing we are quite excited about is to have our Priest-in-Charge reside in our rectory in Shirley, providing a visible presence in the community.

It is the goal of our parish to grow in Faith, in Servanthood and Membership.
